2025 Graduation Commencement-  June 26th, 2025

1. The Graduation Ceremony will be on Thursday, June 26^th at the OHS gym from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
2. There is no limit of how many people can come to the ceremony.
3. There will be no cap and gown for the grads at the ceremony - just formal dresses, suits etc.
4. However, formal grad photos with a cap and gown will be in March. Students will book a sitting session at OHS and then you can order photos.
5. Grad Ceremony Fees will be no more than $90. The fee is required to cover costs such as decorations, group photos, photos on the day of grad, programs, invitations, grad legacy, etc.
6. Fundraising for Grad Ceremony Fees - Bottle Drive after New Years and May Long Weekend, possible Cobb's bread sale, AG Foods Hot Dog Sale and a few other possible ideas. Ms. Lavery will be helping to organize this.
7. Student Grad Planning Committee - will be organizing and planning for the Grad Ceremony
8. Parent Grad Dinner Committee - a group of parents has met a few times to plan the grad dinner. It has been decided (after a significant amount of research and debate) that we are having the dinner after the Graduation ceremony at the Deerfoot Inn.  Doors will open at 5:30 pm and the dinner will start at 6:00 pm.
9. The cost of the dinner will not be more than $65 a ticket and will include a dance, a 360 surround photo booth, set up and take down, all the linen and table rentals, and of course, the dinner.
10. The Dinner Committee will be looking into how you can book hotel rooms for a reduced rate. We are also looking at getting a block of rooms.
11. The parent committee is also looking at organizing a fundraiser in April to reduce the cost of the dinner.
