Physical Education
Dr. Morris Gibson supports a daily Physical Education program for all students. Instruction is provided by a Physical Education specialist and by the students’ homeroom teacher. Students will acquire skills through a variety of developmentally appropriate movement activities; dance, games, gymnastics, team sports, individual activities and activities in alternate environments. Our learning team is dedicated to promoting lifelong involvement with physical activity.
In addition to the wide variety of athletic opportunities, DMG offers enrichment activities such as swimming to the Division I students and inline skating, outdoor skating, and snowshoeing to the Division II students.
DMG also offers a variety of extra-curricular activities to engage students, foster character development and leadership potential. These programs are optional and take place during lunch hours and/or after school.
